The Augury.

Augury is a Nashville AR studio that builds Snapchat Lenses, Spectacles experiences, and live-event AR for brands.

We make the AR people open on purpose: face Lenses, games, marker-triggered effects, and experiences for Snap's glasses. Founder Phil Walton created the Potato, a Snapchat character with more than 1.7 billion impressions, and The Augury has built AR for Nickelodeon, Paramount, Amazon Studios, Lionsgate, DoorDash, and Taco Bell.

How a project runs

  1. Tell us the goalSend the platform, audience, timing, and a budget range. Most projects start with a short email.
  2. Get a scoped proposalWe quote each project individually once we understand what it needs to do.
  3. We build and testWe prototype in Lens Studio, test on real devices, and revise with you.
  4. We submit and launchLenses go through Snap's review before they go live. We handle the submission.

Who you'd work with

The Augury is the studio of Phil Walton, a Snap AR Creator Ambassador and author of two books on Snapchat and Lens Studio. Before Lens Studio he spent ten years as a 3D animator and freelance creative, so you get someone who can handle the concept and the smallest detail.
